What Guaca is

A Discord bot providing a server economy, levels, moderation, automod and engagement features, plus a web dashboard for the people who administer a server. It is operated by luig1987 (aguacatech). Adding the bot to a server, or using its commands, means accepting these terms.

Guaca runs on Discord and is subject to Discord’s own Terms of Service. Nothing here overrides them.

Virtual currency

In-server currency has no real-world value. It cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, or transferred out of the server. It is a number in a database that a server’s administrators can grant, take away or reset at any time, and it may be lost if the bot is removed or a season is reset.

The games — slots, coinflip, roulette, blackjack, higher-or-lower and russian roulette — are played with that currency only. Because nothing of value can be staked and nothing of value can be won, they are games, not gambling. Do not treat them as practice for anything that is.

Fair use

You agree not to:

• Automate the bot’s commands with scripts, selfbots or alternate accounts in order to farm currency or experience.
• Exploit a bug instead of reporting it. If a command pays twice, say so — an economy is only worth playing while everyone is on the same one.
• Use the bot to harass anyone, or to place content in a server that breaks Discord’s rules or the law.
• Attempt to reach data belonging to servers you do not administer.

Balances obtained by exploiting a bug may be reversed, and access may be withdrawn from an account or a server that repeatedly breaks these rules.

If you administer a server

You decide what the bot does in your server: which channels it may be used in, what the shop sells, what automod removes and who gets moderated. Those decisions and their consequences are yours. Guaca gives you the controls and a record of what was done; it does not supervise how you use them.

Availability

Guaca is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime and no warranty. It may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. Features may be added or removed. Data may be lost, which is why backups are taken nightly — but a backup is a mitigation, not a promise.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from use of the bot — including lost virtual currency, lost progress, or actions a server’s own moderators took using it.

Cost

Guaca is currently free to add and to use. Paid features may be offered in future; if that happens, what is included and what it costs will be stated clearly before anyone is asked to pay, and anything you already have will not be taken away to sell back to you.

Your data

What is stored and for how long is set out in the privacy policy. In short: Discord ids and game state, never the content of your messages.

Changes and contact

These terms may change; the date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the bot after a change means accepting it. For anything here, write to info@aguacatech.io, or contact luig1987 in the aguacatech Discord server.
