Guaca docs

Guaca is a Discord bot for an economy with a shop that hands out real roles, games with published odds, levels, moderation and automod, farms, announcements and tournament check-in. This is how to install it, set it up, and what each part does.

Start in four steps

  1. 1 Add Guaca One click, no Administrator permission.
  2. 2 Move its role up So it can hand out and moderate roles.
  3. 3 Your first hour Channels, clock, shop, rewards.
  4. 4 Fine-tune Every setting and its default.

How it works

Commands

43 slash commands, answered in each member’s own language. See them all.

What it watches

Messages for XP and automod, minutes in voice, members joining and leaving, and reactions for the starboard.

What runs on its own

Timed roles coming off, giveaways ending, birthdays, the farm day, scheduled announcements and a nightly backup.

The dashboard

Settings, the shop editor, members, cases, announcements and farms, at bot.aguacatech.io/dashboard.

Language

Guaca speaks English and Spanish. A reply follows the language of the member’s own Discord app, so two people in the same channel can get the same answer in two languages. When their app is set to something else, the server’s language is used (Dashboard → Server).

37 commands also have a real Spanish name in the command picker, with Spanish options and descriptions: a Spanish-speaking member types /comprar where an English one types /buy. These docs show the names in the language you read them in. Posts nobody asked for — level-ups, welcomes, birthday greetings — use the server’s language.

Everything noisy starts switched off. Automod, welcome and goodbye posts, the starboard, birthdays, level-up posts, voice XP, chat money and farms all wait until an admin turns them on. Guaca never posts in a channel it guessed at.
